The family owned business was opened in 1982 by Trevor and Chris Mead, they quickly became local Byron Bay identities – with Trevor's skill and laid back personality and Chris' warmth, the business was a success from day one.
Their son Graeme and his wife Anna have now joined in partnership operating the business together. Trevor has been in the trade 45 years, Graeme for 12 and butcher Stephen Barry has 24 years under his belt.
Trevor, Graeme and Stephen have all worked extensively in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs and together bring huge experience and knowledge to this business. They are joined by apprentices Liam and Brock who together with Dicko make up a great team.
Being a tourist town with sunny weather all year round, BBQ's are a big favourite and Trevor Mead Quality Meats carry the best range of BBQ products, from Trevor's award winning sausages to his fabulous rissoles and mouth watering steaks. Most of the meat is sourced locally and is cut fresh. Trevor, Graeme, Steve and Liam are always happy to discuss your special requirements.
